Bob spent significant time in this volatile region in the latter part of the 1990's. The ancient scenery in Georgia is magnificent ranging from cave dwellings, to 6th century churches to tremendous vistas of the Caucus mountain range and the Black Sea. By far the most interesting thing is the people. (In particular a woman named Nana who has become a long time friend) They are warm, welcoming and treat you like a family member.
